Lisolac is composed of the enzyme lactase, which improves lactose digestion in people with lactose digestion difficulties, thus reducing symptoms associated with lactose intolerance.
Lisolac should be taken immediately before eating foods containing lactose.
With Lisolac, lactose intolerant people can maintain a normal diet, continuing to derive part of the benefits of milk and its derivatives!
However, it is important to know that lactose tolerance is variable and that people who are lactose intolerant should seek advice about the role of this substance in their diet.

WHAT IS LACTOSE INTOLERANCE?
A person is considered lactose intolerant when they cannot effectively digest this sugar.

A person is considered lactose intolerant when they cannot effectively digest this sugar. This condition occurs when the body does not produce the enzyme lactase in sufficient quantities, which is a substance responsible for transforming lactose into galactose and glucose, thus allowing its correct digestion.

Failure to digest lactose can cause intestinal symptoms such as bloating and abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, gas and cramps, which occur after consuming foods and dairy products.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LACTOSE INTOLERANCE AND MILK ALLERGY?

It is important to emphasize that lactose intolerance is not the same as a milk allergy.

As we saw previously, lactose intolerance is caused by insufficient lactase enzyme. On the other hand, milk allergy is caused by an immunological event in the body and not by an enzyme deficiency.

Symptoms of milk allergy are vomiting, occurrence of skin rash and diarrhea. If you suspect you are allergic to milk, consult your doctor.

Take 2 capsules immediately before eating any food containing lactose.

In case of milk intolerance, the capsules can alternatively be taken as follows:

Adults and children over 3 years of age: dissolve the contents of 2 to 4 capsules in approximately 200ml of milk.

Do not exceed recommended dosages
In case of accidental overdose, immediately contact your doctor or pharmacist or the Poison Information Center.
